Reach Higher Challenge
Propelled by their passion for space, Planetary Society CEO Bill Nye, board member Wally Hooser, and the M.R. and Evelyn Hudson Foundation announced challenge grants totaling $150,000 designed to boost The Society’s mission to empower the world’s citizens to advance space science and exploration.
Through their generous gifts, Bill, Wally, and the Hudson Foundation want to inspire members like you to reach higher with your support of space exploration.
Bill Nye is personally offering a $50,000 challenge. Bill will match, on a 1:1 basis, new and increased unrestricted gifts of any size, up to the amount of his pledge.
For those excited to reach even higher, Wally Hooser and the Hudson Foundation offer a second $100,000 challenge. The Foundation will provide an additional 1:1 match on any gift of $1,000 or more, up to the amount of its grant.
Triple your gift: $1,000 would become $3,000, and $2,500 would become $7,500.
The deadline for meeting this challenge is December 31, 2018.
