Support the research into the effectiveness of Laser Bee spacecraft to deflect near-earth objects from striking our planet.
Our Earth has been struck before. Our moon is deeply scarred by
impact craters. Shoemaker-Levy 9 crashed spectacularly into Jupiter in
1994. What seems fascinating on another planet would be catastrophic
here. We are not immune.
According to the research, three laser
bee spacecraft could deflect a Tunguska-sized impactor in less than
one-and-a-half years. Do we make that possible? Will you support this
work by making a contribution to The Planetary Society?
I hope you say YES!
